Interstate 10 Katy Freeway Photos Eastbound
last updated November 23, 2008
The expansion of Interstate 10 west, the Katy Freeway, was dedicated on October 28, 2008, after four years of construction.

The main lanes were open earlier in October, and the HOV/toll lanes became operational on October 29.

These photos were taken on Saturday, October 18, 2008, a week before the project completion. These photos start just west of State Highway 6 and proceed eastbound to inside Loop 610.
