On December 12, 2004, I ended regular sales of Houston Freeways due to dwindling inventory. I am retaining a small supply of less than 50 books for distribution to libraries and to fulfill any previous outstanding commitments. On October 19, 2004, I received the Excellence in Jouralism award from the Houston Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The award reads "In recognition of your publication of the Houston freeway system and the acknowledgement of the civil engineers' role to serve the public in this capacity."
